10-seater (1+2+8) Marble Dining Set includes one dining table, two arm chairs, and eight side chairs
Our magnificent Verdi dining set is named after Giuseppe Verdi, who was an Italian composer best known for his operas. He was born near Busseto in 1813 and is one of the few composers whose genius was recognised while he was alive. In general, Verdi's works are most noted for their emotional intensity, tuneful melodies, and dramatic characterizations. He transformed the Italian opera, with its traditional set pieces, old-fashioned librettos, and emphasis on vocal displays, into a unified musical and dramatic entity. His operas are among those most frequently produced in the world today, especially the three peaks of his 'middle period': Rigoletto, Il trovatore and La traviata. The bicentenary of his birth in 2013 was widely celebrated in broadcasts and performances.
